The Bombom Bee Story

Bombom Bee aka Bumble Bee is how my son pronounce it...he is so fond of this character...everytime the commercial comes out on tv he will say, bombom bee sama and umar kan??? 'and' is misuse here...so yesterday...

umar: mama, bombom bee kan? sama and umar kan?
mama: iye...same with umar's...
umar: mama nyanyi bombom bee...
mama: nyanyi??? oooo..
mama: I'm taking home my baby bumble bee...would my mummy be surprised at me..I'm taking home my baby bumble bee...bzz bzz bzzz...it stung me...

he relates this song to bumble bee...nasib baik tau lagu ni..kalau tak, nak nyanyi apa...lagu linkin park?

Agak sunyi arini....

To tell you the truth..I actually felt sad and nearly broke into tears last friday...tapi bukanla depan orang ramai tau...last week was our boss's last week in the office...while writing this, the link to this blog has been taken out from Facebook, because I have just added my ex-boss in it...heheheh....

bukanla sedih sebab apa pun...nak tak nak dah dekat 5 tahun saya dok bawah jagaan bos ni...selalu gak mengutuk, tapi dah mintak maaf tau...dier akan berangkat ke Oman insya-allah weekend ni...tapi dier cakap tiket tak dapat lagi...ntahla...2 tahun disana...contract...tu telefon dier masih lagi berdering...tatau ke orang tu dah takde...yela..dier pegi pun tak macam orang lain...tulis email panjang berjela...tak sempat dier kata...sibuk clean up PC dier...

ari jumaat aritu dier bagila kitorang cenderamata...sorang satu...kena panggil sorang2...cam apa je...memula saya...tapi sbb dier teringat ader something dier nak bagi since dulu lagi tapi asyik lupa je...saya pun dah tak ingat, tup tup ari jumaat tu saya dapatla duit poket lebih sket...heheheh...then dier bagi tafsir al-quran dalam paper bag...siap pesan abis kan...saya pun cakap terima kasihla, siap bleh pilih nak colour apa lagi tu...of course saya amek warna merah...saya suka merah sejak kebelakangan ini...pastu turn kengkawan lain plak...ala ader 4 orang je pun kitorang...yang sorang lagi tu bercuti...yang kawan kita sorang tu siap dipesan keje rajin2....hahaha...so tu jela...

nak balik aritu..saya beriringan la turun ngan dier...pastu sampai kat bawah pak guard sorang tu dah tunggu nak bersalam ngan tuan haji kita tu..so dier pun ckp..ok liza..jumpa lagi...ha saya pun ok jumpa lagi saya ckp...pastu baru saya sedar...lepas ni tak jumpa lagi dier...takde lagi sesi cakap sesuka ati ngan boss..takde lagi akan nampak kelibat kelisa/xtrail dier kat bawah...so terus saya sedih...lawak je...saya cakap ngan hubby...eh hubby...husband...mmgla dah lama ngan dier mestila sedih...

lepas ni tataula camner..boss baru nampak cam banyak sangat idea nye...ntahla...orang nye muda kata ex boss...so maybe full of new ideas...plus dier mmg into all this e-learning stuff...tgk sini ---> boss baru kitorang

awal tahun ni gi workshop brian chapman, dia pun sebut nama boss baru kitorang ni...so tgkla camner nnt...

so arini saya berdua je kat ofis...sunyi je...tapi hari lain2 camni jugak...takde beza pun...

new manager, new resolution..hopefully....

yes, its official, our new boss is coming in mid june, 15th june to be exact...he came in yesterday, for the hand-over/transition process...we'll be seeing him again today at lunch during the farewell and welcome buffet...

what resolution did I mean here???

well i remembered those earlier days when I started working here...I would be in at the office as early as 7.30am...don't know why, but that's the fact...then a few years later, the pattern changed...guess it didn't mean much to be early at the office...so then it was 8, then a bit after 8...nowadays I would sign it 8.40 at the earliest and 9.15 to the latest...9.15-9.30 would be because of sudden traffic jams...

so now..I would try to be in at least by 830...hahaha..we'll see...we'll see...

the new boss is actually here, while I'm writing this...

Weekend get away....

Sort of a get away...

Anyways...last weekend our little family went to stay at the A'Famosa Resort...a 2days 1 night stay in a Family Studio Apartment, which we thought was very nice and comfortable....we booked the package through CUTI.com .

Upon arriving, checked in and lepak...then umar said, 'jom kita pegi jalan-jalanlah'...umar by the way dah boleh make full sentences biler bercakap...so we all went for a drive to the pekan of Alor Gajah...and coincidentally there was a pasar malam...so we bought food for the night and some 'ole-ole' from melaka, which includes belacan, cencaluk, dodol and a few other things...then we hurried back to the resort since at 9pm we had tickets to see a carnival, which took place at the Cowboy Town.

at the carnival..well it was sort of a parade...with animals, started of with the chicken run...umar of course excited at seeing the animals....then it was more to visit malaysia sort of parade...with dances and all... so we left after that...plus umar was already sleepy and tired...

the next day we checked out just before noon....our next stop was the Animal World Safari....

then we went to the walk through area....

umar was scared of the pony....but got to touch its ear...

then we watched the bird show....

after all that, we decided to go home..but we didn't get to see the giraffes, lions and tigers and other wild animals...but as we were about to exit, we saw people lining up to get on to the safari truck...so we all lined up...and lucky enough to get seats on the first truck...so off we go on a safari...

it was a bumpy ride...as the driver said...a roller coaster ride...only then we got to see the lions, tigers, bears and the giraffes up close and personal...

well not that close...

it was fun and we enjoyed it...although umar was already tired by the time we got on to the safari truck...but we can see that he enjoyed the ride and seeing the animals...

To whoever is concerned...

It is such a major turn off, when you do marketing and call me up and I agreed to the terms and conditions and gave you my IC number and other details, only to get a phone call a few minutes later informing me that my IC number was invalid...the system could not recognise my IC number...because.....as the caller said, maybe its the 71 number on my IC...usually its 10 or 14 or 08 she said...so I was wondering, are you IT people not up to date with the coding of IC or what? I know that my sister who was born in the year 87 has the number 87 instead of 71 on her IC number, so will she be getting the same remarks if she happens to you know, apply for such thing???

I know its not the marketing department's fault, but it just turned me off, I was about to just say...takpela..terima kasih...tak payahla register…because she had to make a note on a written form for me to fill up...

So to the system admin or whoever’s in charge, please take note ya…kindly upgrade your system and database…sbb rasa seperti kita ni bukan warganegara plak…tak suka tau…

Note: the 71 does not refer to the year that I was born, but 87 is the year my sister was born. Jabatan pendaftaran negara pun tak bleh nak selaraskan ke utk org2 yg cam kita ni…
